Way Omega has been devised by the world’s most brilliant minds as a method for Africa’s development. Now, the chiefs of state of Africa have gathered at a summit to accept it as their shared development policy. If they do, it guarantees that Africa will instantly begin to develop. Unbeknownst to the summit, several disgruntled conspirators are preparing to replace Way Omega with Path Alpha, a rival scheme. They assert that their approach is the only way to develop Africa. Should the summit continue to endorse Way Omega, or should it instead endorse Path Alpha? Fathers of Nations is a satire on the politics of contemporary Africa.
